Norwalk, CT June 14, 2017 – Choyce Peterson, Inc. (www.choycepeterson.com),a commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm which specializes in representing tenants, announced the successful completion of lease negotiations for Deadlocked Escape Rooms LLC at 1000 Hope Street in Stamford, CT. Adam Cognetta, Vice President, and Pete Jacullo, Account Executive, represented Deadlocked Escape Rooms, as they looked to establish their first location in Stamford.
At the outset of this project, owner Gene Waggaman cited that the most important factor in their search was a central location in Stamford equally attractive to a demographic spanning professionals and students, as well as families. Parking availability was also a main element of consideration. Cognetta and Jacullo toured many different buildings with Waggaman in the Stamford area, and sought proposals from multiple landlords. Ultimately, Waggaman and his team chose to lease 2,500 square feet at 1000 Hope Street because of the central location, ample parking, and traffic counts.
As Waggaman stated, “Adam and Pete’s attentiveness to our needs was obvious from the start. They understood that location and parking were our main focus and found us a perfect spot in what we’d like to think of as Stamford’s last village. They were instrumental in leveraging what was originally a subleasing opportunity into a direct deal with the landlord, including an extremely favorable rental rate. In addition, they coordinated efforts with our team to ensure the property was zoned correctly with the City of Stamford for our purposes. Needless to say, we were thoroughly impressed with Pete and Adam’s professional demeanor and look forward to working with Choyce Peterson again in the future to open additional locations.”
