Meet the Team

Scott Peterson leads our Investment Sales practice. Identifying and accentuating attributes that highlight a property’s value for sellers or investors, Scott has the insight and network to identify exclusive, nonpublic opportunities in an ever-changing marketplace.

Scott is dedicated to understanding the changes that affect where we work by gathering intelligence from ongoing interaction with government officials, developers, municipal associations and various other key individuals and organizations.  In addition to synthesizing and sharing this intel, Scott harnesses Choyce Peterson’s vast network of sellers, investors, and tenants.

Prior to joining Choyce Peterson, Scott worked for 13 years at the Stamford offices of Big 4 Accounting firms E&Y and PwC.  As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Scott performed financial statement audit and internal audit services at clients in a variety of industries across the region.  Scott then spent four years at Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund with a famously radical culture, where he built a risk management function.

A lifelong resident of Fairfield County, Scott currently resides in Norwalk with his wife, daughter, son and dogs.  Scott’s personal adventures include a 4.5 month-long thru-hike of the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, 142.6 miles of swimming, running, and cycling in an Ironman Triathlon, and more recently, coaching his children’s sports teams.

Scott graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and from the University of Notre Dame with a Master of Science in Accountancy.
