A recent Stamford Advocate article reported that construction is set to begin this fall on a 57-unit housing complex at 3 Parklands Drive in Darien. The three-story project, developed by 3 Parklands LLC of Greenwich, will include both one- and two-bedroom units, with six designated as affordable. The former office building on the site was demolished earlier this year, making way for the residential development.

For many years, one of the property’s key tenants was Norseland, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Norway’s largest dairy cooperative, TINE SA. Choyce Peterson, Inc. is proud to have represented Norseland in its 11,353 Square foot headquarters relocation to 301 Merritt 7 in Norwalk, a Class A office building with significant amenities, and convenient access to major highways and rail.
“We’re delighted to have represented Norseland with this important relocation,” said John Hannigan, Principal at Choyce Peterson. “Their new Merritt 7 space provides a state-of-the-art workplace designed to support both business operations and employee well-being.”
Norseland CEO Sean Moore added, “We’re thrilled to be moving into this premier office location. This move ushers in a new era for our team, enhancing both our workspace and the quality of life for our employees.”
As Darien redevelops the 3 Parklands site into housing, Norseland’s move illustrates the broader evolution of Fairfield County real estate: aging office properties transitioning to residential use, while companies embrace workplaces that better reflect modern needs.
